You know all the things we are doing are vanity, right? You also know God’s will is for us to repent so He can come and destroy the earth and take us to a new place. In other words, this place is dead. The place people are dying to have— to God, we are dying to have vanity, while He wants us to focus on the new earth. We are rather focused on this one, which has been judged and destroyed in God’s books long ago.
In God’s mind, it is not about your barrenness, your homelessness, your childlessness, your unemployed state, your needs. No, it is about being ready and being in a state of readiness for the new earth, that is all. Not having a child will not change what has been written, not getting employed will not change what’s written, being rejected 100 times by companies will not change the fact that God requires men to repent, work on their repentance, and bring those who are also lost into His kingdom for the new earth. That is all. Whatever it is we think about this earth, this world, is not what heaven has set for it.
To God this earth, this world, and everything has been destroyed, like it doesn’t exist. So like Noah’s time, instead of focusing on your marriage, focusing on your job, focusing on your business, your children, your friends, what God is saying is, “Get into the Ark,” because He is about to destroy the world. The very thing you are crying to God each day for is about to be destroyed, and whatever God is planning for any man now has to do with His Kingdom, nothing more, nothing else. If it is about childbirth, He is looking at bringing the next Samuel, next Jeremiah, next Elijah, next Paul through your womb. To God your business is about how He can use it as a channel to finance His kingdom on earth and usher in the new earth.
To God this world is extinct, completely extinct, so our whole life should be about preparation for this new earth, that is all. Your only business is in preparing for the new earth. Brethren, that is all. It is not about your marriage, your business, your land, your child, your father, your mother. Once you are here on this earth, you are on your own, you answer to God alone. It is not about your family anymore but you and God, your soul and eternal life. This is the mindset Jesus wants us to have, not the mindset of climbing mountains and praying for vanity.
And you would notice the likeness He used when talking about the coming of the Lord. What He said are entirely not bad oo, but they don’t exist to God. He is making a new thing and wants our focus to be on that. Who made marriage? Is it not God? Yet He is saying people’s minds are focused on the things of this world, including marriage, business. We are consumed with the former things instead of being obsessed with the new thing. In other words, we are living in the past.
Matthew 24:36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
In Isaiah God said this: 43:18 “Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 65:17: “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.”
Your work will not be remembered, your children, no, business, no, absolutely nothing, because it is completely extinct. Don’t you get it? He is creating a new man. The man born by the woman is no more. This new man is born by the Spirit and water of the Holy Spirit, and that man has neither children nor lands nor anything— a heaven, a new earth, a new world, everything completely new. So whoever is born into this world, it is all about preparation for this newness, nothing more, nothing less. But what are we seeing? We are chasing the world, we are not seeking out for our soul, we are not living in readiness for what’s ahead, we are not looking into the future. If we were, then we would be guided by what we do today.
Every single day is a day of preparation. Every single day is a day of watching and hoping for the glorious appearance. For the appearance— He will appear. But are you ready? Are you prepared? Are you watching? Are you in sync with Him, or is your focus on this world, your marriage, your work, your business, your land, your wife who divorced you, or the people who cheated on you, your family who neglected you, your wealth, your vain glory? A whole lot. None of these is bad, but brethren, He is making a new thing, and all these are passing away.
There is actually a timer on us all, and when that time comes, will you tell God you lost your child, you were neglected by your family, or you did not get to build a house? Just simply, what will it be when the time comes? Because none of the former things will be remembered. It is all gone.
As for this earth, you are going to be persecuted. You will not have peace (your only peace is in Christ). Probably you will understand why a comforter was sent. There will be death, sorrow, crying, pain. Brethren, these are the DNA of this world. No prayer, nothing will stop these. You will have to understand and get used to it. Maybe we should reread Revelation 12:12: “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
You will always have pain, sorrow, death, a whole lot, but brethren, none of these will ever be remembered in the world. No, not one. Why? It only exists here and not there. So whatever pain you are going through as a result of this preparation towards the coming, take it as something that is extinct. It will soon end, it doesn’t exist, and it is worth it. Endure the pain and the sorrow, it will soon be over. Everyone will have a share of the wrath of the devil, unless of course you are the devil or an associate of the devil.
All things are ready, now come. Look at what they are saying. They are talking about their lands, their farms, their wives. Yes, these are the things we are obsessed with. Not because we are sinners oo, we are simply not ready. We don’t understand that we are living in the past. We don’t understand our only business here is to prepare for the great day of the Lord. What has your land, wife, business got to do with the new earth? Focused on vanities, while eternity awaits us all.
Luke 14:16-20: “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, 17and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, ‘Come, for all things are now ready.’ 18But they all with one accord began to make excuses. The first said to him, ‘I have bought a piece of ground, and I must go and see it. I ask you to have me excused.’ 19And another said, ‘I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to test them. I ask you to have me excused.’ 20Still another said, ‘I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.’
Matthew 22:4-5: “‘See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.’ 5But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.”
This is what we are doing ooo. In fact, right in the church, those are the things we are praying for, sowing seeds for, while all these are former things to God. While souls are being lost, completely losing their way, they don’t know what is right or wrong, and the platform they have is to fill the churches and not fill the wedding banquet of Jesus. Fill their pockets— that’s all they know. Not about the kingdom, but the kingdom of men and of the devil.
