A man bought a piece of land, built his house, and rented it to you. After some time, he comes back and says he doesn’t like how you’ve messed up the place, so he’s building a new one for you. All you have to do is leave everything behind, because you’ve spoiled the old house. He’s preparing to take you to this new place.
But do you know what the tenants are saying? They’re saying they won’t go. The landlord is taking them to a new place, free of charge, yet they refuse. The landlord also wants to destroy the old house, but they still won’t move. So right now, the landlord is patiently waiting. The only reason he hasn’t destroyed the house yet is because the tenants have not made up their minds to move. They are simply not ready. But for how long? Just 3 days, 3 days p3—will it go on and on without end? Certainly not.
The tenants think they are losing—losing marriage, losing prestige, losing lands, losing everything they’ve gained—just to move to a new place. But here’s the question: the landlord, who built the house with his own hands, is destroying it and has no problem with it. Yet you, the tenant, have a problem? What are you really losing—the land, the house, the money, the gold, your children, your prestige? Which of these is even yours in the first place? And the point is, he’s not only taking you out, but he’s also going to give you a hundred times more than whatever you lost. So again, what exactly are you afraid to lose, or what exactly is your problem that you can’t take your eyes off this world that is passing away?
