One Day You Will Give Account: Are You Ready to Meet God?

We shall all one day give account of whatever we did here on earth.

Are you prepared to meet God?
Or do you believe in “You only live once”?
Or perhaps you believe there is no God?

One day, you will stand before God and give account of yourself to Him:

  • What you used your time for
  • What you said with your mouth
  • The thoughts you had in your head
  • The stumbling blocks you set for others

Everything since the day you were born—what you used your eyes to see, what you did with your hands and legs, and how you used your body—will be brought into account. Even the ways you may have led someone to hell will not be overlooked.

Matthew 12:36But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
Romans 14:12So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Every thought must be consciously considered. Every word must be carefully spoken. Every decision must be deliberately made—because you will give account of it to God. You will either be justified or condemned based on what you said and did.

Matthew 12:37For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.

Nothing you do is hidden from God. He sees all. He knows what you’re thinking. He knows your imaginations. He even knows what you will think tomorrow at 1:03 PM.

He sees things not as they appear but as they truly are. He hears everything you say. You can lock yourself in your room and do shameful things—watch pornography, masturbate, commit secret sins—but know this: Someone is watching. You can hide from man, but you cannot hide from God. And one day, you will give account.

Luke 12:2-3The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops for all to hear!

Mark 4:22For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light.

Nothing Escapes Judgment

Is there anything that will not be judged?
Absolutely not.

Whether joking or serious, every action, word, and thought will be judged.

Ecclesiastes 12:14For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

God will use His Word as the standard on the day of judgment. You must consciously strive to live for what is eternal. It’s not easy—but the cost of ignoring eternity is too great.

Pursue righteousness with all your might and then you will meet true opposition. That’s when you’ll encounter the devil himself, trying to stop you.

We often take life for granted, but the devil does not—because he knows God’s nature better than we do. He knows that God will definitely do exactly what He has said.

1 Peter 4:18And, “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”

Your Time Is Limited

Dear one, God has set a limit for your time on this earth.
You will never go beyond it.

We wake up each day not because we deserve it, but because our time is not up yet. Like an alarm set for a specific hour, God has marked out your days.

Job 14:1,5“Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble… Since his days are determined, the number of his months is with You; You have appointed his limits so that he cannot pass.”

Knowing this, how should your life change?
You must not live passively or carelessly.
You must not sit on the sidelines.
You must fight on the frontlines.

Be so God-centered that your every desire is to please Him. Let your life be consumed with fulfilling the purpose for which He created you.

Strive to be a faithful and good servant so that you can inherit what God has prepared for you. Nothing you do will go unrewarded—whether good or evil, in secret or in public.

How Desperate Are You?

How desperate are you to make it to the New Earth—a place with no sorrow, no tears, and no pain?

Revelation 21:1,4Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth… And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away.

Just how desperate are you?

If you truly want to experience the Kingdom of God, seek Him with all your heart. Not 99.9%—but 100%.
Then you will see the forces of darkness come against you with full force. That’s when you’ll know that being a Christian is not easy.

Jeremiah 29:13You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.

Let this message not just be words you read—but truth you live.
Live every second for God.
There is an account to give.
Are you ready?
